Now many Victorians are celebrating his resignation, with thousands of people gathering in front of parliament house at 5PM yesterday, the time the premier completed his final day.
Victoria, Australia was the most heavily locked down state in the whole world. The people were subject to 23 hours of lockdown per day, with one hour of exercise, the streets were policed and the army was blocking freeways, for almost a year. Most businesses were also forced to shut down, and the people lost everything.
One of the organizers of the event said, “this is just the start, we are pushing for justice.”
