As most news outlets are reporting rising death tolls in Turkey and Syria after the earthquake, we would like to highlight the little miracles that have happened over the last week as citizens of entire nations unite to help one another;
Our first story is of a little boy who was rescued after 112 hours or four and a half days in the Adiyaman province in Turkey. When asked if he was hungry, he said no, a man in white would come and give him food and water. Proving that maybe there really are angels on earth.
Next, a little girl was rescued after five days by thousands of ordinary citizens who dug her out of the rubble by hand. Rescue workers left no stone unturned as they not only rescued people, but they also worked feverishly to rescue animals as well. All life is precious.
A twelve-year boy volunteered to help the earthquake victims by helping distribute supplies to rescue workers and victims. As child after child is rescued from the rubble after days of being buried, one has to wonder just what miracles our creator was performing here, as a little boy was asleep for six days. He woke up when they rescued him and he was asking what happened. They are telling him good morning sunshine we are just here to wake you up.
While there were nurses who were working in a natal intensive care unit who chose not to evacuate during the earthquake and chose to stay and save the babies in the unit.
Amazing miracles from our creator happen every day, just how did these children survive 5 days with no water or food? While the earthquake truly was a tragic event, the people, when united, saved thousands of lives…. Together.
