Pfizer now sells vaccines at 100 times the estimated cost of manufacturing

Pfizer now sells vaccines at 100 times the estimated cost of manufacturing

If the possibility of death or serious injury, clotting, heart attacks, and infertility wasn’t enough… Here’s one more reason to not take the jab. For more than two years, the US government has purchased all of the covid vaccines administered in the country.

This has become the largest public vaccination campaign in American history.

Those purchases have included more than 500 million doses from Pfizer.  The first 100 million cost around 20 dollars a dose, thanks to an earlier agreement in which US government invested $1-point-95 billion in vaccine production.  The remaining doses were bought for around 30 dollars each.

But once US government supplies run out likely in the first quarter of 2023 and COVID vaccines and therapeutics are moved onto commercial health platforms, Pfizer is able to hike up the price of its shots. The company has announced it intends to sell the COVID vaccine, marketed under the brand name Comirnaty, for 110 to 130- dollars per dose. This is about four times the current selling price–and 100 times the estimated cost of manufacturing the vaccine.

Pfizer spends less than 1 dollar and 20 cents to produce each dose of vaccine.  And if that wasn’t enough, Pfizer is using sleepy joe to advertise for them so they could sell more of their high-priced vaccines.  Yesterday sleep joe took his COVID booster live on TV while stating “get vaccinated,” Biden said at a white house event. “it’s incredibly effective, but the truth is, not enough people are getting it. We’ve got to change that so we all can have a safe and healthy holiday season.”

Biden, who caught a recurring case of covid-19 earlier this summer despite having received a total of four vaccine doses at the time, then rolled up his sleeve and received his fifth dose – this time of Pfizer’s omicron-specific booster – on camera.

The president said that the coronavirus vaccine is “just like the flu shot,” and added that “for most Americans, one COVID shot each year will be all that they need.”
