Kenyans will have access to affordable smartphones, produced locally and scheduled to hit the market at the end of October

The move, aimed at enhancing nationwide connectivity, is anticipated to have a significant impact on people’s ability to access digital services.

For only 40 Dollars, these smartphones will be accessible to a broad range of the population, regardless of their economic circumstances. The production delay, originally planned for august, was due to a recently concluded feasibility study.
