Iran is now being accused of helping out Russia by sending military personnel to Crimea to assist Russian pilots who bombarded Kyiv with Iranian kamikaze drones earlier this week.
Videos of delta-shaped Shahid drones conducting deadly strikes across Ukraine, including in Kyiv, have surfaced on social media in recent days. Russia and Iran have both denied any involvement with one another.
Following the drone strikes, NATO’s secretary-general announced that the 30-member alliance would send drone-jamming equipment to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Kyiv has also suggested breaking off diplomatic ties with Tehran in light of the recent arms transfers and drone attacks.
