Regulations prohibiting the sale, purchase, or transfer of handguns within Canada took effect on Friday.
The handgun freeze was announced in may alongside proposed legislation that would implement the nation’s strongest gun control measures in 40 years. Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau said the measure builds on earlier efforts banning handgun imports.
Opponents say the federal government’s real goal is to scapegoat handgun owners and use wedge politics to appeal to a narrow base of voters who wish to see legal firearm ownership eliminated entirely. Canada has stricter gun laws than the United States, but Canadians can own firearms with a license.
Some firearms must also be registered.
What *is* clear is who’s side Trudeau is on in the “war between the deep state”. His recent deep state stooge activities include allowing China to build military bases on Canadian land, extreme covid policies that made absolutely no sense and stealing money from the truckers last year.
