The UK has a new prime minister. Conservative Rishi Sunak was officially appointed by king Charles yesterday. Sunak is the country’s first British-Asian prime minister- he’s also the wealthiest.
Sunak pledged to fix “mistakes” made under Liz truss’s leadership.
He also said he would restore trust, rebuild confidence and lead the UK through “a profound economic crisis”. But don’t let Sunak’s good looks and charming British accent fool you. He’s about as *deep state* as they come- that what’s happens when a lizard appoints you.
One has to wonder why Sunak would even take the job?
He’s practically a billionaire, and so is his family, it’s not like he needs a job that pays 164 thousand per year. Well, Sunak is a board member of the world economic forum under Klaus Schwab- and at their meeting in Davos in may, Sunak was being wooed by every banker and world leader. His website, readyforrishi.com was also registered last December- way before Boris Johnson’s resignation, or Liz Truss’ brief tenure.
It’s almost as if they *knew* how this game of politics would play out.
