Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, is getting some intense backlash since the company announced its branding partnership with controversial transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. In fact, the company’s value has plummeted by more than five billion dollars.

Mulvaney who is 26 years old had posted videos and photos on social media promoting her sponsorship deal with Bud Light, which produced specially made cans with Mulvaney’s likeness to commemorate the partnership. She has more than 10 million followers on social media. So far, Bud Light has pushed back against the criticism and stood by Mulvaney.
